oh, hey.

you're my favorite.

here is the starting line in lagrage, texas on day two of the 2012 ms150. this is just a tiny fraction of the riders who made the trek from houston to austin this weekend to benefit multiple sclerosis. it’s early as shit & cold as balls.

today i completed the ms150 for the second year in a row. it’s a one hundred seventy mile bike ride spanning two days from houston to austin raising money & an awareness for multiple sclerosis. it’s a thrilling, brutal, exhilarating, & challenging experience that pushes you to your limits & beyond.i crossed the finish line (& the last painfully hilly eight mile stretch) along side my beautiful sister, cassidy. we were greeted by our parents with hand made signs of congratulations as well as the lovely & talented christopher boyfriend blake.

this year i had my first fall & featured above: my worst injury to date - a super painful sunburn that eventually required wrapping in order for me to continue. this is what happens when you miss a spot when applying sunscreen! also featured above, the capital building, my face less than an hour after the ride as i collapsed in a pile/puddle of sweat on our hotel room floor, & a photo moments later after a most welcomed shower. it’s amazing the difference a little hygiene can make, i almost instantly felt like a human being again.

i already can’t wait till next year ;3
